This Privacy Policy is published by Hoang Anh Nguyen, the developer of the Android application PupCue (package name com.pupcue.app), and applies only to that application. In this policy, “PupCue”, “the App”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Hoang Anh Nguyen and the PupCue application.

Overview

PupCue is a potty-first daily routine app for puppy owners. It helps you log potty breaks, meals, naps, walks, reminders, and related puppy routine events. PupCue is local-first: your puppy profile and routine logs are stored on your device.

Information you provide

PupCue may store the following information on your device:

Local storage

PupCue stores app data locally using SQLite on your device. PupCue does not currently provide account login, cloud backup, caregiver sync, or server-side data storage. Deleting local data from Settings removes local PupCue data from the device database.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, PupCue schedules local notifications for potty estimates and routine-based reminders. Notification content may include reminder timing and app deep links. You can disable notifications in the app settings or your device settings.

Analytics, crash reporting, and remote configuration

PupCue may use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Firebase Remote Config, provided by Google. Analytics is optional and controlled by the in-app analytics setting. Crash reports may include device, app version, error, and diagnostic information that helps improve reliability. Remote Config may be used to adjust non-sensitive app behavior such as feature flags and ad placement flags.

Advertising

PupCue uses Google AdMob to show ads in allowed placements, such as the bottom of Today, History, Insights, or Settings content. AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location, app interaction data, diagnostics, and other data as described by Google. PupCue does not intentionally place ads in onboarding, active timer screens, potty success screens, accident logging, or immediately near the Take Outside action.

Consent and privacy choices

For regions where consent is required, such as the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, PupCue uses Google's User Messaging Platform (AdMob Privacy & messaging) to request consent before serving personalized ads. The in-app analytics setting controls Firebase Analytics event logging in PupCue.

Children

PupCue is intended for adult puppy owners and caregivers. It is not directed to children under 13. Do not use PupCue to submit information about children.

Sharing

PupCue does not sell your local puppy routine logs. Third-party SDK providers, such as Google Firebase and Google AdMob, may process data according to their own terms and privacy practices when those SDKs are enabled.

Data retention

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, or clear app storage. Data processed by third-party SDK providers is retained according to their policies. To request deletion of any data associated with your use of PupCue, contact hoanganhnguyen1712@gmail.com.
