Terms of Use for PupCue

App and developer information

Acceptance

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Android application PupCue (package name com.pupcue.app), published by Hoang Anh Nguyen. By installing or using PupCue you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Licence

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use PupCue on devices you own or control, for your own puppy care. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

Not veterinary advice

PupCue is a logging and reminder tool. Potty windows, insights and reminders are estimates calculated from the events you log, and they can be wrong. Nothing in the app is veterinary, medical or training advice. For anything concerning your puppy's health or behaviour, consult a qualified veterinarian or trainer. You remain responsible for the care and supervision of your animal.

Your data and your device

PupCue stores your puppy profile and logs locally on your device. There is no account, no cloud backup and no server-side copy, which means uninstalling the app, clearing its storage or losing the device loses the data. Use the export and backup features in Settings if you want a copy you can keep. How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

Notifications

Reminders are delivered as local notifications and depend on your device. Battery savers, Do Not Disturb, forced app termination and operating system restrictions can delay or suppress them. Do not rely on PupCue reminders where a missed reminder would cause harm.

Advertising

PupCue is free and shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. Ads are supplied by Google and its partners; their content is not created, endorsed or controlled by us.

Availability and changes

The app is provided on an as-is basis. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, including the reminder, insight and ad behaviour, at any time. Updates may be required for the app to keep working.

Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PupCue is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence.

Termination

You may end these terms at any time by uninstalling PupCue.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use as PupCue changes. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated.
